The Ceremony
Please arrive at the Kirk well before 1.45pm for a 2pm kick-off. Buses will leave the centre of Braemar at 1pm to take guests to the Kirk. For anyone driving, there is parking across the road from the Kirk. After the ceremony, the buses will take guests onto a reception at Mar Lodge Estate

The Reception
Buses will take guests directly from the Kirk to Mar Lodge Estate after the ceremony. If you are driving, please park your car around the back of the main house. Buses will return you to Braemar town centre at 12.30am, otherwise please pre-book taxis for your return home at that time.

Round Two
One day isn’t enough so please join us back at Mar Lodge Estate for a big old ‘Scottish Alpine Disco’ highland hog-up.
In usual Norwegian style we will meet at Mar Lodge for a dip in the River Dee at 11am so bring a swimmy and towel (you can change afterwards in the “Bunkhouse”). The party will commence at 1pm in the walled garden to the right of the Lodge.
There will be two buses leaving Braemar town to bring you to Mar Lodge at 10.30am and at 12.30pm. Buses will then take you back to Braemar town centre at 8pm.
Dress Code: Think Slim Aarons après-ski disco in the Scottish Highlands - tartan mini skirts, your finest furs, disco sequins, Barbour jackets and wellies or moon boots. If you still have nae clue what to wear, there’s more outfit inspo here
